Neferkare Pepiseneb

Neferkare Pepiseneb may have been an eighth dynasty king of ancient Egypt during the First Intermediate Period. His name is attested on the Abydos King List, and he is the first king since ntyiqrt (who may be either Nitocris or Netjerkare) to appear on the Turin Canon of Kings, which gives him the epithet, Shery, or The Younger. It is because of this strange absence that some Egyptologists consider him the first king of the Eighth Dynasty, whereas the Turin Canon omitted the seventh, but this is speculation without hard evidence.
